These terms apply to your use of this website and to grooming services from Shaggy's Pet Grooming ("we", "us"), a mobile pet grooming business serving Broward County, Florida. By using the site or booking an appointment, you agree to them.
Our services
We groom dogs, cats and rabbits at your home in our mobile van, by appointment only. The services we offer are described on our service pages. What is included in an appointment depends on your pet, and we confirm it when you book.
Booking
Appointments are booked through our online booking tool, by phone, or by message. A booking is not final until we confirm it. Our policies on deposits, cancellations, rescheduling and late arrivals are given at the time of booking.
Prices and payment
Prices on this website or on our flyers are a guide. The final price depends on your pet's size, coat and condition, and any extra work such as de-matting. We confirm pricing when you book. Payment is due as explained at booking.
What we need from you
- Give us accurate information about your pet, including age, size, health conditions, medications, allergies, and any history of biting or fear.
- Make sure the van can park near your home, and that we have access to water and power if we need it. Tell us about any parking or community rules when you book.
- Have your pet ready, and tell us about any fleas, ticks or severe matting before the appointment. Extra work or extra charges may apply.
- Be at home, or arrange for another adult to be there, as we agree when you book.
Your pet's safety and health
We handle pets gently and with care. Grooming can be stressful for some animals, and pets that are elderly, very nervous or have health conditions can be at higher risk. Tell us about any concerns before we start. We may shorten or stop a groom if it is not safe or comfortable for your pet or for us. We are groomers, not veterinarians. Nothing on this website is veterinary advice. If your pet seems unwell, contact your veterinarian.
Matted coats
If a coat is badly matted, the kindest option may be a short trim, and brushing out mats can be painful. We will talk with you about what is best for your pet, and may need to shave the coat. Skin underneath mats can be irritated or hurt.
Photos
We may take photos or video of your pet. We only post a pet's photo on this website or on social media with the owner's permission. Tell us if you would prefer we don't.
Cancellations and no-shows
Please tell us as early as you can if you need to cancel or change an appointment. Fees may apply as explained at booking.
Website use
The content on this website, including text, photos, logo and design, belongs to Shaggy's Pet Grooming or is used with permission. Please don't copy it without asking. The site is provided "as is", and we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Links to other sites, such as Instagram, are not under our control.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law, or our responsibility for our own negligence where the law does not allow that to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
